I'm sorry. I know this is the corniest shit that's been posted in here for awhile, and I normally don't post in here anyways, so gimme a pass, please. I did a 420 tape 2 years ago with my buddy, and we're doin one again this year. Last one was mostly throwback shit (cypress, total devastation, devin etc...). But I know there's probably more weed songs nowadays more than ever, I'm just not really "hip" to much aside from the obvious (Wiz), so I'm calling upon the rap nerd kingdom that is

for suggestions, especially west coast shit, since my homie is from Houston, he usually has his southern game covered. So if you got em, please post em. Thanks.

^^ at this point songs about weed generally succeed via production and vibe, and sometimes via the charisma and stage persona of the rapper. lyrics are literally meaningless. in 2014 there's nothing that can be said about weed on a rap song that hasn't been said a million times before
