Well based on the video, let's hope it's a return to form. With a title like 'Respect the Architect', I have a feeling it's going to be more like 1988 than that last jawn.

There's been a lot of ill shit coming out of the Midwest the past few years -- Danny Brown, Quelle Chris, Denmark Vessey, TREE -- but Blueprint is still easily among the best out there. This song's great.

AFter a run of maybe buying 3 albums a year, this makes like 4 (Tui, Atmosphere, OME) that I'm going to cop in the next month or so. Yay hip-hops.

Your taste in music is soft as shit, though. You know that, right? I like OME and Blueprint a lot too. Just saying.

No, I'm totally fucking unaware of what kind of music I enjoy, but now that you've let me know I'll make sure to change my tastes so that I can fit in with the ignorant shithead crowd. That's way more important than actually like, enjoying stuff.

What the fuck kind of asshole listens to music to impress other people?

(and yeah- I'm a middle class 37 year old white guy with cats, of fucking course I'm soft and the music I like the most is stuff I can relate to.)

Amusingly after a few listens I think "too soft" might be a valid critique of this album. Everything is technically very good, but it just lacks a little punch. As the last guy on earth left buying music, I'm slightly annoyed by how short this is.

Album is right up there for me with 1988. This release is getting lost among the plethora of other recent releases, but it's really good. Short, yeah but I think its consistent all the way through so I rather that than a long album where I skip 4-5 tracks anyway. Nothing is skipable on here. Album is real honest, real clean and the production is right up there with the lyrics.

I wish more people would put out short albums. I would rather hear 10 really good songs without all the bullshit cut out, than getting an album with 16-20 songs and I skip half of them.

Loving this album too.

I liked this a lot. I liked's Blueprints experimentation on this last two joints, but I liked see him return back to 100% hip-hop.
Title track is dope as hell.
