LOS ANGELES (CNN) -
Rapper Andre Johnson severed his penis and jumped from a Los Angeles apartment building early Wednesday, police said.
Johnson has been a member of Northstar, a Long Beach, Calif., hip hop group that was part of the Wu-Tang Clan family, according to the Wu-Tang Clan website.
He performs under the name Christ Bearer

The guys who were there for the chop, who commented on it to TMZ, the Black Knights, they released an album this year produced by John Frusciante from Red Hot Chili Peppers. It's really good.
He was one of the Wu-Tang affiliates who cameoed on the Rza episode of "Upright Citizens Brigade" in the late 90s.
