technically it's not but the joie de vivre he once had for raping whores with shotguns and rapping about it clearly not there anymore. listen to his old stuff, he sounded like he relished every line. now he labors through them because he doesn't know anything else. like any other aging rapper he's is just making a reasonable facsimile of what worked before but it doesn't have that same spark to it.

I think the thing is Necro always has been, and will be a good rapper who raps about the things that Necro raps about.

The difference now is that it's hard to justify love of Necro to other (more or less) normal people. I used to not be fully ashamed to listen to the "I Need Drugs" album, and explain it as some pure hip hop shit. His newer shit has to be played a little softer, or in some headphones. It would be an almost embarrassing to try to explain it to someone new...it's a niche market.
