a$ap ferg has fallen yet again under the shadow of asap rocky. however, he made interesting, catchy music when he reached the apex of his popularity last year.

ofwgkta's popularity ballooned due to the press latching on to the macabre lyrics & trying to create sensational headlines out of them. i fell for the hype. we all did. i am still a fan however. tyler helped me expand my musical horizons.

i don't know what YOU are on about. i am a huge fan of WG. i am merely stating that if gibson had listened or allowed himself to be aggravated by grammar 'police' we would have never been blessed by classics like neuromancer & mona lisa overdrive. he takes A LOT of liberties in his writing.

gza is no doubt lyrical but his voice aggravates me & the beats on liquid swords were too spaced out & weird to sustain my interest. it's just not my thing. deal with it.

Allow me to clarify (as though it'll make any difference): it's one thing to actively create of new words/portmanteaus/whatever in order to add to the palette you use to color in the plot of science fiction novel, and another to write using shitty grammar that necessitates "grammar policing." What are these egregious liberties you refer to?

It's also ridiculous to compare Gibson to Orwell. Apples and oranges.

If the beats aren't your thing on Liquid Swords, then I really don't know what to tell you and will "deal with it" by just stepping away from that conversation entirely. Personally those are some of my favorites beats of all-time from the Wu canon.
