and they are not really worth hearing more than once
he rocks with Jazzy Jeff when dude spins... he does a pretty decent job of that though

he did one this year because Big Daddy Kane tweeted that he was waiting to hear what Skillz had to say in the '14 Rap Up, and that tweet happened back in June.
just like Kane, I enjoy hearing these. I don't really care if he only puts one free novelty song out for the rest of his career; it gives his overall catalog a better look than some other rappers. One mediocre novelty song trumps the same 20 garbage tracks every year. And the lyrical content is rarely recycled material, unlike some rappers that can't come up with more than 5 topics in 20 songs.

I actually look forward to these songs from mad skillz (anyone know why he changed it to skillz?). Also 2014 rap up was one of his best in while imo, beat was decent too. I think last year he did do a 2013 sports rap up for espn only.
