Aside from the Dre Beats headphones. I had a few pairs of those, and the hardware imo is garbage. I just need a durable pair that are that sound really good.

Dre Beats are kind of garbage and horribly over rated (yes I own a pair)... good for casual listening and traveling etc, but i would never work on music or mix with them
I live and die by my Beyerdynamic DT 770 PROs though

Don't do any monitoring/mixing with Dre Beats. Stay far away. They have an EQ curve already wired in the firmware.
I like my Audio Technica ATH-M50x pair. They're cheap(ish) with a pretty flat response as far as I can tell, if anything if you make it sound dope in them, it'll translate fairly well. They're actually the pair Dre is using right here:
so that tells you how much Dre's into using his own headies. Good luck.

Thanks guys. Yeah I'm not a big fan of the beats. I'm going to look in to the Audio Techinca one. They put out good equipment.

Niice. I've gone through many cans, Sony, Pioneer, AKG, but haven't found the the right thing personally.

you want them to be flat and true and thats what they are. They're my favorite i've had as far as mixing goes. so yea.
