the current run I think shines more because of there being less features & better beats/producers. it gives each tape a more consistent feel plus it lets him shine more lyrically. I feel like He made his best album in 'Monster'. And if you add the potential greatness in the upcoming products Ape shit, FBG2, and Dirty Sprite 2?

monster was my favorite tape last year, probably because, at it's core, it's an emo rap album.

i think monster is my favorite future project right now, it got some really great codeine ballads

he does have an ear for beats, i just cant listen to him much, or just gotta be in the mood rather. he get repetitive imo

I like a lot of futures music and he certainly makes great videos but this interview is on some generic boring bullshit. I'm mad I watched it.

I guess I am being vague with that comment. It's mostly out of ignorance from being old and not knowing how to categorize this type of hip hop by name. Is this trap music? Do you consider this the same sub genre that Gucci Mane, OT Genesis, Fetty Wap and others fall into? Because all the Future shit I have listened to over the last few years is light years better than the stuff I have heard from those artists. I don't claim to be an expert of any sort on this shit. I'll always be a late 80's to mid 90's dude, but I'm in the hood all the time so it's hard to avoid listening to newer stuff on the block or in the barber shop. Glad I got put on to Future he's dope.
