Went with the Kendrick album. Tough call for me between that, Compton, & Scarface from the ones listed. Drake is up there too. None of those is particularly earthshattering, but Kendrick's album is the best in my opinion.

These would be included in any year end list for me though (I realize you said this wasn't the year end list):

Out of this list DS2, easily though I also liked Vince Staples album. DS2, Barter 6 and Sremmlife are my picks for the year so far.

vince staples album was fantastic. amazing debut, especially given that he's in a major. asap rocky album was good but i stopped bumping it after a while. kendrick would be my second best album of this year.

yeaa Earls album was pretty nice. totally slipped my mind even though i bumped it heavy during the spring and early parts of summer. don't think anybody in this forum is going to acknowledge that though.
