Godfather don, imo. I know we got some scaramanga stans in here (whattup driz!) and I liked some of his stuff but his body work doesn't fuck with don's.

On one hand I'd say scaramanga, because he kind of took don's style and went further with it, kind of like godfather don on steroids. On the other hand, if you look at their full body of work, I agree don wins. For me when you take everything into consideration (strictly on the mic, scaramanga's various aliases. their full body of work, don's beats), it's godfather don's production work that makes him the better overall total package than scara.

I don't think scaramanga was ever really near Don , on a technical level. he was quirkier but don could flow his ass off and said some out there shit. Scara always seemed like he would rhyme accidentally. Which is cool but, i dunno...I prefer don's steeze in general.

Piece Of The Action and Da Bomb Baby were def the best 2 tracks to bridge the gap between N.Y indie rap + peak Jiggyness.

The only question left is, how do "real hip hop" fanatics like wicked and jaz rate godfather don?
