I loved it when it dropped but it didn't age well, imo. Where as IWMBGWH has somehow gotten better.
early 90's me would agree with you but I can't listen to that "style" of rapping in 2016.

Neither probably aged well but NNFA is my shit.

One of the reasons NNFA is so striking, even then as it is now, is it lacks skits. It was one of the first records I remember listening to without a single skit or bit of wasted space.

I would argue that IWMBGWH has aged extremely well cause , aside from a few songs, his rapping style is more conventional which tends to age better in general. It's the reason I'd rather listen to The beatnuts than freestyle fellowship in 2016. Also, The production is pretty timeless funk shit.

Here's a hot take: i think "Let the rhythm him'em" is the best Eric b and rakim album.

Listened to Let The Rhythm Hit Em recently. It's more even than Paid or Leader but doesn't have the high points those have, but it also doesn't have the filler. DSTT is more polished and has Juice on it ( :pause: at that whole sentence). Tough call really.

Also, technically HHNF is Clipse 3rd album.

It's not even close. The debut shits all over the mediocre second album. "Lickshot">>>>>> all of his second album.

IDK about that. Yeah 5 O'Clock Follies was dope but this was was more polished in both B&R.

Agreed Reel To Reel is significantly better. Save Play It Cool, 2000, I Like It and maybe Backstabbers, the rest was forgettable for me.
