Trying to validate listening to Drake on the grounds that some bad things happen in Toronto though.

Toronto is a safe city broski. That's why I'm surprised that the kidnapping happened at Harbourfront.

In terms of pop songs controlla > one dance. Just feeling pnd's style rn. Hotline bling sounded surprisingly fresh there at the end.

Pop style is the jam. absolutely murks hov on this. U can see why hov wanted so badly to get that lil two bar retort in. Of course 6god can't let him get away with that. ye's verse was mediocre anyway -- he doesn't add anything just copies driz -- so great call on cutting those bozos.

The topic of our talk switches to Drake’s upcoming fourth album. He only has two songs finished that he likes. One is a collaboration with Beyoncé that he recorded a while ago. The other is a song that he expects to inspire a paradigm shift. His days of releasing lay-up bangers that everyone loves right away are over. For now.
Anyone know which track he was referring to in that interview? Prolly "One Dance" or "Controlla".

Where you getting this from? PND is not listed as a writer of Controlla in the credits.

This, or point me in the direction of a working streaming link, please. Everything I've found so far is garbage.

Jay Z ended his career on his own terms. It doesn't need some soft batch derivative faggot like Drake to jump in at the tail end and try and make point to confirm it.
If he was trying to get on in 98 or 2002 he wouldn't have a chance.

Agreed. I mean it's not like there were any rappers who were considered 'soft' or 'singing too much' who got on around that time.

Thanks for proving my point - everything he does has already been done.
Refer back to my previous post and then look up what 'derivative' means.
