listening now.
you guys sound goofy when you speak but you can hear that you're all having fun.
my only gripe are the idiotic sound bites sprinkled in everywhere.
the music that you're playing is very on point.

 Well we are white, and goofy, so that explains that. The soundbites, I know what you mean. I think 360 maybe went a little happy on this but some of the clips I will say are pretty fitting. We're all influenced by the Stern show, hence some of those bites. Appreciate the feedback and you listening bro.

I sound goofy due my whiteness as well, so i know that feel.
The giggity giggity clip going into a song was pretty fresh.

haha Yeah you can tell that you're all white, not that it's a bad thing... *shrugs*

Overall, pretty good show and it's put together very well. DJ 360 sounds the best and most natural. The song selection is on point (except that lame KA joint). I will say that the overall quality and sound of the show could use some tweaking. Listening in my car I literally had to crank the volume up to 22 when I normally can keep it around 12, and the music itself just didn't sound as FULL as it should (play only Vinyl perhaps? haha jk). What kind of quality are you guys recording the show at? Granted most people will probably just listen on their phones with earbuds where the sound quality doesn't matter as much. And yeah, you guys went WAY OVERBOARD with those sound bites. Whatever though.

Sorry, but I don't think Andre 3000 is or could ever be "The Voice Of HipHop". C'mon. "The Voice Of HipHop" needs to be someone who embodies the Culture as a WHOLE! LOL at Action Bronson though. He's not even really HipHop to me anymore, he's more of an Entertainer. I dunno. And I did like him from late 2009 up until 2012 or so, but since then I've had a harder time taking him serious when it comes to HipHop, not to mention he's been hit or miss since then (mostly miss unfortunately). The new DURAG joint produced by Knxledge is dope though! And yes, Prince Paul is the fuckin man!!

Now this right here is a white guy who's voice is great on radio...

^What lil Jameson keeps saying is "Felix... where Felix go?" Felix is the other MHz homie in-studio, The Friendly Traveler.

Appreciate the listen and the feedback. I'm not so concerned with how we sound, it is what it is, but I am interested in the feedback regarding the music or the overall production of the show. I do agree, the sound bites were a bit overboard but I do expect that to change come next show. As for the quality, maybe it's because we used some MP3s? I know if it's not vinyl it ain't proper. That could be the reason why the sound isn't up to your standards.

haha I know man, I was kidding regarding how you guys sound. Y'all sound fine. But naw I ain't thinkin "if it ain't vinyl then it ain't proper" at all cuz I've accepted that most people will spin/play mp3's and use Serato. It's HOW you use it and making sure your mp3's are of the highest quality possible cuz that DOES matter. I personally won't spin with Serato, but that's just me cuz I'm a hardcore vinyl head (physical copies in general). But I do challenge you guys to have an ALL VINYL episode some time in the future cuz there's PLENTY of dope new HipHop that I know you like that's out on vinyl, not to mention all the old shit and classics and what not. Try it cuz I'm sure you guys will have fun especially sittin there commenting on artwork and all that shit. But yeah, keep doin your thing man... :phila:

If you are white and don't sound white then you need to sit down and think real hard about wtf you are doing to yourself, imo. Good shit tho

Really solid first ep. I dug the balance between old and newer music, remixes, etc. I thought the sound quality was fine (was streaming directly from Soundcloud in the car). Would be cool if you posted a tracklist so we can save songs on Spotify or whatever. Definitely will keep listening to future eps. Thanks for making this!

Appreciate it. Once the website is launched, we will have a tracklist posted as well. If you need an ID on anything we played, just let me know.

And yes, R4R, it was sound bite heavy this ep, but we are toning it down moving forward.

Nah they were cool, just surprised by the amount of HS references in them.

Came back to say I found the playlist you're compiling on Spotify:

Following for sure. Will be a good compliment to the show!

Unfortunately, not everything we play is available on Spotify, so I chose the original versions for a few of these tracks. Once our shows are available, I’ll be adding tracks we paid to it. We just finished Ep 2 last night and we anticipate it to be released before T-Giving.

Did you hear the Times Up remix he did on ep 2? I think that's the best one he's done for the show so far.
