Just played this one for the first time in a minute. Quik's production is the shit and Suga's rhymes are still nuts.

What do you guys think?

One of the best rap albums of all time. It's a mystery, Scooby Doo why it's not included in the current 1997 albums poll on here.

In retrospect it should have been included, but I'm a burn out sometimes and forget obvious things. One of the best rap albums of all time is a bit of a stretch imo, but it certainly should have been up there with almost any of the others that were listed. It's pretty great. MUCH better than that Juvenile record and better than a few albums I did list. That's why I say pencil it in. My goal is to take the top 2 (or more if there were any ties) from each year and do a final decade poll. I'll count yours and maybe one other for this album but it's obviously not as egregious an omission to others as it is to you. It's subjective anyway. You say get the Co Flow album out but meanwhile it has the 2nd most votes. Agreed, though, poll integrity needed this up there.

It's really all just in good fun anyway. Just a way to have conversations. Look, that poll started this thread and hopefully a bunch of people will pull this album out now and bump it like the OP or maybe someone who never heard it just got put on.

peace
