HWH7 might be my favorite release by WSG but its an early verdict.

The group effort from Griselda will be out at the end of next month and I'm very hyped for it. Think them rapping together might motivate Conway to rap properly and from what I understand it will be their first official release on Shady(?). Wonder if Headlines with Premo will be on there or was that just meant to be a loosie?
Whether to Jason of Philaflava or John Podesta, I will speak my fucking perspective openly

Same output. Beats are all very dope. Some good features. His verses and solo songs are interchangeable. He hit his peak with FLYGOD in '16. Everyhting since has been watered down. Overall, nothing memorable here. Doesn't have me excited for anything great to come from him in the future.

Look forward to another 37 songs named after wrestlers. Truly a pioneer of the craft.

I see what you're saying, and maybe you're just tired of WSG, which is fine. However, it's not like he switched his style up or got significantly worse since FLYGOD. If you truly did like FLYGOD, then you should like his recent output as well. Conway on the other hand has gotten tangibly worse to the point where I'll no longer be checkin for any of his shit again.

Wouldn't say he's gotten significantly worse, but has certainly gotten lazier. Just looking at this last project, songs like Size 42, Connie's Son, GONDEK, Whoopy, Love U are all less than two minutes. They aren't even really songs. Just rambling verses that are overly adlibbed. Not saying he was ever very skilled, but at least on FLYGOD, there was some life to the songs. Definitely have gotten tired of his formula at this stage, but was hoping he would have evolved more over the years as he's blown up.

And yeah, Conway sucks now for the most part.

Listened to Flygod yesterday for the first time in a while. Still think it's a really well put together album. Everything else varies from decent to crap - no different to 99% of rappers really.

Daringer is excellent though.

I will say that as much as I like talking shit on Gunn's overall mediocrity, I am looking forward to their group album. Gunn & Conway always work best as a duo, going back to the Hall & Nash tapes. Benny is the best guy they got so putting him in the mix can only be an improvement. The group songs that pop up on the Gunn and Conway solo projects are usually the standouts for me.

Assuming they don't get bogged down with shitty Eminemen beats or something, it could be good.

Nas already told you hip hop is dead a decade ago. This is the #UFCEra put the mic down, roundhouse kick the turntables out the crib, get yourself a punching bag. This is a whole new breed out here.

Griselda album, What Would Chinegun Do (WWCD), out Friday, 11/29. First full release under Shady. Think it's entirely produced by Daringer with contributions from Beat Butcha. Tracklist below has been floating around online. Also, two singles already came out: Dr. Birds & Chef Dreds. Think this is gonna be weak to be honest. They've gotten the most out of their wave at this point.

1. Marchello Intro (Raekwon The Chef)
2. Chef Dreds
3. Moselle
4. Cruiser Weight Coke
5. Freddie HotSpot
6. DR. BIRD'S
7. The Old Groove (Feat. NOVEL)
8. Scotties
9. Kennedy (Feat. Tiona Deniece)
10. City On The Map (Feat. 50 Cent)
11. May Store (Feat. Keisha Plum)
12. Lowery (AA Outro)
13. Bang [Remix] (Feat. Eminem)

See this being a mixed bag. Some bangers but also most likely some forced hooks and crossover joints.
