Yea seems like that whole Hoodies and Ratchets crew faded out into the reality of call center and delivery jobs.

New loosie from Benny, and another video off the collab with .38 Spesh. Still haven't heard that, but will get around to it soon.

He admitted they dropped the ball on GOAT which actually gives me some optimism going forward. When you're signed to a label they want you to continuously release product which makes it harder to release cohesive, original, albums.

I'm excited to peep this one though because he seems pretty amped about it and all the Daringer beats.

Ehhh, this is pretty boring. Shame. Was hopeful given the amount of Daringer beats.

I think the Blakk tape is dope for the most part, especially the back end. It's really just the first two tracks that stood out as not being good though, not sure why they were chosen to bat leadoff.

Agreed af.

They like a new Jada/Styles combo. The joint with them is flames.

New Easter track. Benny destroys his shit. WSG takes shot at Fahim & Mach. Less Mach so much and more Fahim.

Fahim is slightly more tolerable than WSG, but they're virtually indistinguishable from one another: annoying voices, glaring Roc biting, increasingly inferior production, and no bellwether projects.

Fahim is tolerable when featured on mach songs, but he's just not interesting enough to hold down a whole project down by himself. Granted I haven't heard any of his solo tapes, but there's a reason why mach has people searching the depths of the interwebz for every little song/project he's ever put out, and no one seems to care about what Fahim is releasing.

I did like this song tho...

I was simply saying what I've heard from him on Mach Hommy songs doesn't warrant looking into his solo work, he's decent at best. If you think any of his solo projects are really worth checking out, then enlighten me...

I think Fahim is pretty good, but there is absolutely no need for him to drop so many projects that are essentially the same, and I have waded through a lot of them. TGIF is the one I play most, but can I say that it is 100% is best release? No, as there are 30+ I'm never going to listen to.

Fahim gave a few good beats to WSG around the HWHIII/FLYGOD time. Never really been a fan of him as a rapper. Couple decent verses he's got on some of Mach's albums, but never had a desire to listen to any of his albums.

Fahim will not appeal to everybody and he definitely puts out too much samey music but he's grown on me a lot through repeat listens of Dollar Menu 3 and other Mach stuff. He reminds me of a lower-tier Wu Affiliate, which is a complement. He's definitely limited, but a lot of the 90s NY 2nd stringers he reminds me of, who this whole scene reminds me of tbh, were limited in pretty much the same ways.

Dump God EP, Dark Shogun Saga 2 and Dump GOAT are the standout tapes off top.

I'll prob give those a try. I'm pretty into this whole "scene", so if the production holds up then they could be a worthwhile listen.
