Yeah, Gibbs & Madlib are a cool combo. My favorite Freddie Gibbs songs so far is Rock Bottom.

I've collected so much Hip Hop and other music post-2010 some of my hard drives have reached near excess. Here's a streaming compilation I made around 2012 of some Hip Hop favorites: https://www.audiomack.com/album/collect ... m-da-brain" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; featuring !llmind, Dr. Dre, Reks, Pumpkinhead, AWAR, K-Def, Big K.R.I.T. and more.

Just saying in '09 Exhibit C dropped and I have not found a song better than that since.

Big fan of those Statik Selektah joints featuring Black Thought. Bardom by Ras Kass feat. KRS is real nice too.

Boonie Mayfield

Some sharp rhymes this MC sent me a few years back. He also features on a number of tracks with another dope emerging MC named ILL.

One of my favorites from the production team known as Brutal Music, gotta thank them for bringing a dark cinematic edge and aiming to be the hardest sound of boom-bap.

I like the live drumming vibe and overall raw energy on this one plus Chino lights up the mic as usual.

I loved the EP Self Scientific dropped a few years back. DJ Khalil is one producer I forgot to list under Progressive above.

I like the laid-back smoked out vibe on this one.

This one always boosts my adrenaline, I like the unique sound selection Black Milk chose and how the flows parallel the energy of the sample.

A Gangstarr Foundation member steps in the booth with Marco Polo for some high-energy and raw NYC Hip Hop.

Rising producer D.R.U.G.S. Beats who was featured on Dre's Compton hooks up some rawness for Baltimore MC Illpo in 2014. If you like Nottz Raw's D.M.P. click this has a similar feel.

Rawness by this Keith Murray associate, I think they may be brothers and they sound alike: https://soundcloud.com/fish-grease" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Yes, that MARS posse cut was nice. Video filmed in my hood up near the George Washington Bridge!

Another Marco Polo banger
