Spinoff: Best Soundtrack
Listing a bunch of OST cause even though every song isn't Hip Hop per se, the vibe of the film is Hip Hop. As usual, pencil one in if I missed it..
Also, feel free to post your favorite OST tracks here via youtube.

Re: Spinoff: Best Soundtrack
As an album I can play front to back, it's gotta be the Wild Style OST.
As a soundtrack in the 90s sense, it'll probably have to be Murder Was The Case for that opening 4 song run, and for making me a DJ Quik fan.
Re: Spinoff: Best Soundtrack
They're mostly all a mixed selection of great tracks and filler. Labels using them to road test shitty new artists was often a problem.
Voted Menace II Society though.

NJD when you combine the 2 and eliminate the filler, it's as good as it gets.
1. Ill Al Skratch - Don’t Shut Down On A Player
2. Redman – Where Am I?
3. Young Lay – All About My Fetti – Mac Mall & Ray Luv
4. Total – Can’t You See feat. Biggie
5. Outkast – Benz of Beamer
6. Keith Murray – East Left
7. MC Eiht – Ain’t Nuthin’ But Killin
8. Frankie Beverly (so outta place but it’s on the soundtrack) – Before I Let Go
9. E. Bros – Funky Piano
10. Black Moon & Smif-N Wessun – Headz Ain’t Ready
11. Naughty By Nature – Connections
12. Biz Markie – Nobody Beats The Biz
13. Jeru The Damaja – Invasion
14. O.C. – You Won’t Go Far feat. Organized Konfusion

Breakin' => How does this miss the cut?
Re: Spinoff: Best Soundtrack
It's hard to separate the movies from the ST. Like skipping school to go see Juice bc it was the thing to do kept that ST in rotation longer than any others.
Leaning towards NJD because it's got my favorite Outkast track that only shows up on this and the Cell Therapy maxi-single (although this song was directly responsible for blowing out my speakers in my old 90 Lac Deville). Not to mention the other great tracks on this ST.
I'm going to go ahead and wait for closing arguments before I vote tho.

Re: Spinoff: Best Soundtrack
had to go with friday but it had the advantage of having two dope soundtracks for it
Re: Spinoff: Best Soundtrack
White man can't jump rap EP was fantastic. On this list, I voted "New Jersey Drive" though.
Also, "Strictly Business" had a few dope jungle brothers songs on it.

No "Colors" OST??? Hmmm...
IMO, the best tracks are featured on "AIDS" ... "Decisions", "Street Life", "Love & Affection", "Blood", "The Hustle", "Nasty Hoes", "America", "The Yearn"...
