Organized Konfusion and UGK are my personal favorites. UGK's catalog is deeper to me.

Having a very difficult time with this. Can make an argument for each on so many levels. Gonna sleep on this. True story, had to drive out to LI today and had a random shuffle going in the whip. Wasn't all Hip Hop, but each one of these groups came in consecutive order per the list as far as Hip Hop- there were other genres in between, and a Nas song came on before UGK, but it was exactly this order in terms of Hip Hop duos. Thought it had to be a message to make this poll.

Run DMC obvz the most important but find myself listening to EPMD songs more than the others.

never got the ugk love....i enjoy their music but eh

really tough choice btwn ok and epmd....i went with epmd but probably shouldnt have

grew up on Run DMC, but would opt for OK any day of the week.

EPMD.

Ultimately went with EPMD, but this was as hard as any poll, imo. All are favorites of mine for sure.

None of their albums are perfect by any stretch but they are all dope and they have an ill dynamic together. First 2 albums were on constant play when they came out back in the days.

For real tho.. I was at this show and of course it was amazing to see Buckshot, Masta Ace, Raekown and Masta Killah, Natural Elements etc but Nice & Smooth were just so good. There was this feeling in Hip Hop in NY that I can't explain. Pre Wu Tang and Black Moon, and eventually Nas and Biggie etc. Nice & Smooth embodied that shit.
