R&R still sounds very good nowadays, while Goodfellas suffered from being the follow-up of the greatest Show & A album, plus there were too many guests on it - instead of featuring all those guys, Show shouldn't have retired from emceeing...

didn't listen to KMD's BB for years ... used to play it a lot in 94, but since Doom went solo on Fondle Em, I prefered his early solo works.

...and I'm not familiar with the other 3 albums you listed. guess I own them, but I rarely listened to them.

on a drunk sunday, I'd prefer one of the first 3 Redman albums.

This. Though preferably my reconstructed version including Popcorn and the What A N*ggy Know remix.

Either you really are Bobbito or I'm calling bullshit on you listening to Black Bastards in 1994 when it only existed as a secret promo cassette within industry circles

either you're joking or you don't know that there was a regular Elektra promo tape circulating in 94 ... I even bought a vinyl bootleg pressing of BB when I visited London the same year (or maybe early 95, can't remember)

Yep. Gets more play than Runaway Slave from me.

Black Bastards a close second, but I think I starts really strong and runs out of steam a little. I think that it might have been the first album I ever downloaded...

Yes. For me, it's an all-time top-10 album and has aged as well as, if not better than, any of DOOM's best work.

I still ride hard for The Ecstatic too. EASILY Mos Def's best IMO.

Do yall rank Goodfellas over Runaway Slave?

Mercy vote for Cella Dwellas, but I would have picked Bush Babees Ambushed initially, because I'm an obtuse cunt
