Gloss raised a question on IG with a bunch of classics asking if anyone can find an album from the last 5 years that can top them- my first thought was no, I can't. but I could name a few from the last 10 years. After thinking about that, I don't know if I could even do that since some of the albums he posted were strictly 5 mics to me.

But I can say this one album here can def stand with almost any. This Q-Tip album from 2008 is an absolute new era classic and straight 5 mics. Just amazing at a time of great uncertainty and transition in the history of rap music. Album is perfect in every way. Front to back, just flows perfectly. A masterpiece imo.

Always thought it was average. Wish I could add more than that, it has been quite a while since I listened to it. It was praised so heavily when it dropped and when I listened I was so underwhelmed, subsequent spins have been the same. I'll try to spin it and return with my thoughts.
