Like 300 maybe? Mostly CDs but a small collection of tapes and records too. I used to collect a lot of shit from like 1999-2004 and probably had about double that at some point but got rid of a lot of albums over time too.

I hardly buy physical copies of anything anymore but I'm always down to browse a used CD store if I find one.

Imo there will always be a market for vinyl tho.

If I can’t listen to it in my car, I’m out. HomePod just reinforces that even more. I have boxes and boxes of cds and tapes in storage that are good for a nostalgia trip, but I don’t need them in the house. Plus I don’t need anyone asking me who Josh Martinez is or why I have 72 Moka Only cds.

I finally removed the big Couch because it was takin up too much space. All my records are alphabetized and in sections... 2018, 2017, 2016, 2010-2015, 2005-2009, 2000-2004, 1996-1999, 1991-1995, 1986-1990, Limited Vinyl Releases (80s & 90s), Chopped Herring (80s & 90s), Instrumental, Reggae HipHop, R&B/Soul, etc.

Here's my walk-in closet...

Here's my 80s & 90s limited vinyl releases. On the left is all the various releases from labels like Back2DaSource, Crooked Cat, Dope Folks, DWG, Freestyle, GoodFelons, GRR, Heavy Jewelz, Ill Adrenaline, Lost, No Sleep, One Leg Up, Ozone Crew, Sergent, 16F, Six2Six, Slice-Of-Spice, Smoke On, Threshold, etc. and on the right is all my 80s & 90s Chopped Herring releases.

Virtually zero (have a few random CDs still kicking around). I sold off the bulk of my collection a few years ago and now primarily use Spotify. I didn't have a ton of CDs anyway, I think my collection was around ~200 when I decided to dump them. I still have all my MP3 rips and downloads backed up in case I want to revisit something that isn't on Spotify.

Same with movies and TV shows. I have a bin with a few DVDs leftover but otherwise it is Plex, Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.

I've also begun buying most video games digitally. I'll still pick up the occasional physical disc if there's a sale or cheap used copy.
