Copped a CD copy of the first one without hearing it and was massively disappointed. Is Adrian Younge still involved with this?

You should be disappointed with yourself. I went to the pryme show. Packed, sweaty room. About 3 girls there. Came out smelling like testosterone. Premo has that cool guess the sample gimmick tho.

maybe I wasn't being blunt enough. The first album was incredibly dull and only saved from being let down of the year by the fact that it wasn't as bad as Compton

It's just not very good.

The highs are pretty good but few and far between. The rest is boring.

It’s a poor album, imo.

As someone who thought the first album was really solid, this one is underwhelming as hell

I'm in the same boat.

I'm really trying to like this. Like maybe I'm missing something. But I just can't find it.

It has its moments. But it's mostly boring af.

Finally got around to listening today. Basically, I wanted to see if they could make something as good or better than the joint with Jay Elc from the first album. They didn't and I'm not surprised.

Only joint I wound up keeping from the first album. Crazy how times have changed. Was dying for a Preme/Royce album in '07/'08. Not even gonna listen to this outside the Roc track.
