NEW LINK for Black Moon 25th Anniversary [MIXTAPE]
Today marks the 25th anniversary of Black Moon's seminal debut album, Enta Da Stage.
Black Moon, along with their team of the Beatminerz, Boot Camp Clik & Dru Ha, helped to lay the foundation for the golden era of east coast hip hop.
This album was very influential to me, and remains one of my all-time favorites to this day.
To mark this occasion, I've decided to put together this mixtape tribute to the NYC legends.
Although the album itself was a classic, some of the best tracks were not included on the original version.
In order to obtain these gems, you had to buy the vinyl 12-inches (or in some cases the CD or tape singles).
So on this mix, I've decided to include the remixes, rare & unreleased tracks, and my own custom blends.
I've also fused together some of the original samples Da Beatminerz used to craft their beats.
Press play and get ready to enta da stage....

Re: 25th Anniversary of Black Moon's "Enta Da Stage" today
Thanks for the mix filthy rich, you do a good job in keeping in creative and fresh on the one's and two's as a contributor to the I look forward to enjoying this on the weekend.
I remember waiting forever for the album to drop. The wait between Who Got Da Props and the album was horrendous!
I've run into each member at least once as a native New Yorker: I used to see Evil Dee all the time up at Fat Beats, saw 5 Ft once in Rock & Soul Records, spotted Buckshot coming out of a building down by Times Square.
Enta Da Stage is definitely one of those albums that encompasses the NYC experience imo. I'm thankful to have been around and enjoyed the era it dropped.

One of the all time great albums and BCC from 93-97 were up there with whatever crew and the first installments from each group are some of the best albums of the 90's
The show was really dope the other night. It felt like old NY in there for a few hours.
Gonna listen to this on the train Monday morning. Always a great job FR.
