How so? Heard a couple interview he's done promoting this and he's coming off pretty dated. Started listening to the album too and wasn't grabbed by much.

Well, I can't speak for the interviews you heard but RA has always been known to be an asshole. It's apart of his scthick. I'll be the first to admit he's intentionally doing that. Maybe for our interview, he got a bit defensive with some questions. The few that I've seen have been ABC Mouse type interviews where they go "tell me about the new album?" and he talks.

Think it's the opposite actually. Would seem odd a magazine would completely fabricate this. Think E40 has confirmed it before as well.

E-40 def confirmed it being real, atleast the existence of an article rating rappers. Around the time Big was still alive, E-40 claims to have had the goons surround Big and there was a hit on his life. They eventually met and squashed it. Big was locked in a club, forget the details but this was directly out of E-40s mouth, not print.
