Today is Furl's 50th birthday. For the longest time I've been looking for a DVD called Town Bidness: The Movie Vol. 1 (2005) from FriscoStreetShow but the internet has no idea what I'm talking about. So if anybody knows where I can get that, it's been a grail of mine for way too long. I'm even asking on a site with a well known East Coast bias.

If I can figure out a way to get a hold of him, that might be my only hope at this point (if he even has one to sell). Lemme know if you can help add on other titles or know how to find that one.

Jesus, great work man! Crazy how little music videos he has under his name. For his late 80's work it's understandable. So sad how he never was able to release a video for Feelin' Myself (as well as countless others).

Who Killed Mac Dre?

Kansas City Detective Everett Babcock arrived to the scene of a murder on the morning after Halloween in 2004. A totaled, white Dodge Legacy van was found on an embankment below Highway 71.

The area was poorly lit thanks to a series of street lights along the west edge of the highway. It appeared as if the van had spun sideways, slid around and went off the road, crashing into a muddy ditch.

The driver’s side of the van had been found with more than 30 bullet holes and a man was found shot to death nearby, having been thrown from the vehicle upon impact from the crash. It was an exceptionally violent scene...

Fat Tone getting killed because of #fakenews that he bragged about killing Mac Dre in a song is almost as sad as Dre's murder.

Ima Getcha is the song which inspired the #fakenews. He raps about a car getting flipped by gunfire in the 3rd verse but it was released a year before Dre's death. Some dumb Inspector Gadget motherfucker heard it and thought it was a subliminal confession that Tone killed Dre and this then snowballed into Chinese whispers that there was a Fat Tone song where he admits he was behind Dre's murder.
