Classic AZ with the timeless flow. Some of the hooks are not the best (the Ross track could have been great without the singing) but overall this is a pretty solid 3.5 mic affair. Much better than I thought it would be. A little disappointed in the Alchemist beat, but overall the features all did fairly well on this. Would have like to have seen Nas and Mega on here tho.

Perfectly mediocre record that I refuse to believe took 12 years to make
He should just put out 2 versions of every album from now on - the middle of the road version, and the good one a la Memphis Sessions

I wanted to love it. It's just not the Doe or Die 2 I wanted. Much like the Muddy Waters 2 won't be what I want either. This is kinda safe with a few collabos that don't seem to fit. AZ is a top lyricist, regardless.
