ive listened to a few of the others already and i like yours the best so far, the cymbal got to be too much by the time techn9ne came in, the chino verse went really well with it though, nice job, drums are fresh

this is the first beat i've ever posted on philaflava. i don't know why i haven't put anything up in the past. but hopefully this interests people. hopefully people can feel the amount of work i put into it, even if it isn't super polished. clean isn't my steez.

also, there are four movements, so stick with it.

ok, so here's my review of everyones beat:

still illiterate:

piano loops is dope, the drums are a bit thin. the snare could use a little more work. I think the accapellas are off a bit at the part where tech 9 comes in.

weren't we supopsed to mix all three acapellas in our remixes?

iron shiek : this is cool, i like how you used the accapella samples to make the melody. not really feelin it much though. i like the creativity put into it though.

bizzlestilskin

the beat is dope man, the chops sounds a little out of key, at least the melody arrangement feels kinda out of place.

citizen: this remix is ok, i think the mixing coulda been better. not feelin the drums. good to hear you mixed accapellas, overall it sounds nice. I like your transit system joint, very nice.

alpha: lovley lovley that piano gets props, i think the vocals on the accapella could be louder, love the use of the vocal samples, this sounds pretty good, if it was mixed better i htink itd be dope.

e-styles : im liking this remix, the only prob is the snare man, it's a little too low, but that's my opinion. overall this is composed nicley. it woulda been dope if you put use to the other accapellas as well. this sounds really great though. good work

makai : this is funky as hell man, this is definetly dope, love the chops the beats nice, but everythings pretty quiet. i really like the beat, some of the hits sound kinda corny. but over all this is dope.

damn it'sa tie, we need more voters.

i voted for hiphopapotumsusss.

he had the nicest beat that actually seemed to fit the song.
m-akai and dj-e did really nice jobs of that as well.

blown and sill ill both had really dope beats as well but they just seemed like they would have served better as instrumentals or at least with more mellow rhymes on top.

the other fellas, you beats still wouldve probably been better than mine if id have gotten one done. im really not that lazy, im just a senior in an engineering major so i dont get much around time around my eqipment right now. sorry hass.
