i got lost going there and on my way back. not cool. anyway....
the show was real dope. illogic killed it as did blueprint. blueprint rapping over billie jean was the highlight for me.
dj rare groove was playing all the dope breaks and did a tribute set to their favorite rapper odb which had everybody going crazy.
pumpkinhead did a quick acapella
i havent had that much fun at a show in awhile

I'm sad you couldn't make it too kitten. It was good times, the most fun I've had at a show in my entire life. Here's a write-up I submitted to my school paper:Jen wrote: I'm really sad I couldn't make it. I'm glad you guys really enjoyed it though.
HOW THE MIDWEST WAS WON
It took no longer than four bars from Blueprint to get the crowd jumping in the packed basement of The Court Tavern in New Brunswick on April 10, 2005. The Columbus, Ohio underground hip hop MC/Producer played to a crowd mixed of drunken college kids and hip hop heads sharing the bill with fellow Ohio rapper Illogic.
The show started behind schedule, almost a standard in the underground scene with Terrorwrist, who spit a rendition of Nas

Damn, so much for journalistic accuracy. The article already went to press. Terrorwrist, it wasn't so much myself not feeling your set, it was the crowd. As a writer, it is a rule to provide an objective synopsis of an event without injecting personal opinion. I thought you did a helluva job warming up the mic.

haha well i'm glad u enjoyed it....if there wern't so many sound issues when things were being set up and the DJ had more time to warm the crowd up before i got on i think it woulda went better...plus my music being stopped and having to be recued on a CDJ that No ONE seemed to know how to use for some reason didn't help eitherKid B wrote:Damn, so much for journalistic accuracy. everyone i talked to was feelin me tho....i know the vast majoirty of the people that were at that show anyway from doin shows out here....it just makes the show more fun when the crowds already drunk and ready to go nuts.....
