May 28th marks the birth of underground hip-hop in New Haven, CT. For years Connecticut has been without an outlet for quality underground acts, sure, occasionally a C-Rayz Walz or a Jedi Mind Tricks will come to Toads Place or a local college will throw a Demigodz event, but these appearances are few and far between. GROUNDWORKct hopes to change this

Every month we will feature four quality performers and a battle. Once the show is over the DJ of the night provides a party atmosphere. We hope to become an incubator for both local talent and underrepresented national talent.

This month
