in what way is that sampler analogue? i've used the 900, 950, 1100, 2800, 3000 and 3200. none of them were analogue as far as i knew. i thought the only analogue samples were those old ones with the tapeGREEDs wrote:watchu got...I'm messin with an Akai S1000 right now...analog is out of this world.
i got a casio fz-1 and a emu esi 32. dunno if the emu is considered vintage though
you mean the DAC? i can't say that i have ever paid great attention to any of that, i've done no comparitive tests. prior to the 16 bit 1000 was the 12 bit 9 series though so i woulda thought that any difference in sample quality would have been more due to greater resolution more than superior digital to analogue conversion. i'm FAR from an expert though so i could well be wrong.
