^^^decided to upload a soundtrack for everyone to use for samples for the first round. you can use your own drums and bass, you can also add synths but the main samples need to come from the ost.

i'm probably gonna end up using these samples in the next half-dozen beats i make
there's enough here to do the whole beat (fuggasynth), cept possibly drums...rrr

woah, has. this is awesome. i'm glad you didn't use those samples I sent you. This makes for a much more diverse tourney.
I think that first song was sampled on a big l and AG remix. I can't recall the name off the top of my head right now, though. it was an ill beat.
are we making 2 beats from the get go?

well, you're not going to need a 2nd beat unless you win your semi-round and make it to the finals...so it's up to you really.

i did that so we wouldn't get 16 beats that sounded really similar...hopefully we'll get a wider variety of tracks this way.

yes, you have to host your own beat...soundclick, zebox, myspace, ysi would work but you take a chance that your link will expire and people wont be able to download your track.
