Based on the ".exe" I'd assume that this won't work with a Mac. Any idea if my hunch is correct?

I'm on a Mac too. I changed the .exe to a .rar and it unstuffed into a folder. I have no idea what to do with the contents though. It looks like something for the PC.

Mua, ha, ha, ha... you forward-thinking idealists... buying a Mac... you will need to sell that along with your dusty laser disc player if you wish to live happily.

Based on this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dll_files

I'm going to go with no, but it never hurt to try.

From that link though it seems that it (the dll file) was made specifically by Microsoft to make file compression easier so that files with similar codes can leave portions out that the computer can reassemble since it's a uniform code. I'm not entirely sure though, I just glanced over the link. Lot's of mention of Microsoft though, no mention of Apple.

how many ppl use Macs here? I could upload Recycle, which is just about the greatest program ever. It actually may work for PC too, though you'd have to convert the disc image to a pc-readable format

Well, I use a mac. I'd sure appreciate it for what it's worth. I could probably up a copy of cubase, though it's the most basic version.

Does anyone have a better version of that "Verbal Intercourse" accapella?

as a matter of fact, none of these are real accapellas, you can do what they're doing with whatever program you have.

edit: actually some of them are real acca's, but Verbal Intercourse certainly isn't one of them.

Steinberg Hypersonic v1

Image
Steinberg Hypersonic is the music workstation that adds more power, more versatility and more sounds to your system than you've ever dreamt of. With it's excellent sound-per-system specs, uncompromised sound quality, fast and easy tweaking options, Hypersonic is the ultimate sound factory for every computer-based musician.

Steinberg Hypersonic is both a compositional workhorse and an expandable, high-performance sample player / synthesizer. It takes the musical instrument workstation concept to computer-based music production environments with higher quality, easier use, and more effective playability than ever before.

With 5 high quality sound generation engines, a large built-in patch library with 1000 patches from more than 50 categories featuring Wizoo's acclaimed sound design, it delivers an unbelievable amount of sounds, effects, voices and outputs, allowing you to generate more high-quality sounds in a given system than ever before.

A fully integrated database makes finding the right sounds a breeze; "hyper knobs" allow for quicker, easier and more "intelligent" sound-tweaking than ever before at the turn of a single knob. Thanks to its proprietary and unique optimization engine, Hypersonic dramatically reduces CPU load, RAM/disk space requirements, and patch/combi loading times.
i had to break this into two parts;

http://www.sendspace.com/file/j7gswo - part 1, this is the main folder.

http://www.sendspace.com/file/5f3kps - part 2, this is the H20 setup file.

unzip part 1 (it's a zipped folder so you won't need to make a folder when you unzip it)

unzip part two, it will be the H20 setup file. copy and past it into the folder from zip one and run it from there and you should be good to go.

IMHO, there is no lyricist now or before that can match the lyrical dexterity of Qwel.
