Concept track of phila posters who can write but can't rap having phila mcs spit their stuff?

-edit: comment that was a joke but came off a more mean spirited than intended removed.

it could happen

as long as everyone who wants to participate are on the same page, it could work out

if the :sluggo: song brought cats together to build more then, this shouldn't be a problem

it could get funny

id ghostwrite something as long as the beat does not have this wierd interlude thing where charles manson pops out of the speaker and stabs me. <- thats the condition but changes are cool. even if my verse has nothing to do with that serial killer ish i still wouldnt give it to you

this is a grand idea. here are a couple beats y'all can move with, if you're so inclined.

http://download.yousendit.com/23053B400B606B1A

Extra Strength

http://download.yousendit.com/7C44F773702F61AF

Nation

http://download.yousendit.com/5A901BC64B9D44A1

Nickel Loosie

assuming you choose any of these, i'm probably not the guy to mix the joint though, what with my shitty ear and all.

*shrugs*. they're available.
got more records than god.

www.myspace.com/tayoisnt is where i show how i use 'em.

Aiight, Tayo....

Extra Stength --- So damn smooth!!!! I'm loving this one.

Nation --- I remember that sample. I like the beat though. Sounds like a good topic could flow with this one.

Nickel Loosie --- Real melodic and chill. You got thing for freqaking those organic sounds with the melody I've noticed.

All three tracks were great. I'd say definitely Extra Strength. That shit got some swagger to it.

We should see if we could get Kool G Rap on the track.

That would be like, the ultimate, dude.

For the producer(s):

Would we be able to circumvent some of the difficulties inherent to the first posse cut if you as producers simply gave us one or two 8 or 16 bar loops (depending on how many participate) to record over? This way, even if we could choose between several beats for variety's sake, wouldn't we decrease the chance of people coming in at wildly differently places? Or is this way too overcontrived?

For the emcees:

Should we choose a theme of any kind or should we just assume we'll do the brag/self promotion/show skills/ say some fly shit thing without any unifying thread? I guess this is easier to answer once the music is selected.

Just curious...
