Really.

Not sure why you'd question those if you have Sean Price and Pharoahe on that list.

I put titles on there that I think would be on a few peoples list, it certaintly doesn't mean I agree with all of them. But Redman? Keith's album is almost better and that shit is trash. Redman needs beats.

Voted "Other."

Right now I'm all about that Big Shug joint. "Street Champ" is fucking sick.

Play It/Leg Breakers is the best 12" of the year, both are anthemic. The chorus for Leg Breakers brings me back to the stick-up days.

There are only two songs on the album that I feel are less than "above average" and they would be "War Path" and "Spit It Real," though the line about "you never seen a thong unless you wearin' one" is LOL worthy. Song needs remix.

Also, best album to listen to while smoking weed in a while. Hood With That is proof. Try it.

Monch, UGK, and Common have all been on heavy rotation.

Kind of early to tell, but I think UGK will surpass my previous '07 favorite of Waitin' To Inhale. Anything other than those two albums or Prodigy's is just plain wrong.

Wait so, Redman has two votes, Blue Scholars, Evidence, and Common are getting votes/mentions, and NOBODY has voted for Devin?

:naswtf: :naswtf: :naswtf: :naswtf: :naswtf: / :naswtf: :naswtf: :naswtf: :naswtf:

Devin's album ETHERS everything on this list with two possible exceptions 1) UGK maybe 2) Prodigy if you're a complete NYC grimy rap dinosaur

COMMON!?!?!

I put other down because of Joell Ortiz.
Its been on the heaviest rotation from me.
Even if just for the 2 tracks with "Brooklyn" in the title.
Not to mention the song called, "bqe"
I'm sorry but its my personal favorite of the bunch.

well that's basically what I said. I only :naswtf:-ed the fact that nobody had voted for Devin. But yeah UGK, Devin, Prodigy is the order of choice right now.

Don't really see why people think Prodigy's album's better than Pharoahe's. It puts me to sleep and there's only about 3-4 good songs; the rest sounds like generic NYC dun filler. The first 6-7 songs on Phaoroahe's album are nuts.

Voted for Devin. Even though I think the second half of the album could have been left off the album, theres really nothing else I really gave a shit about this year. Prodigy and Sean Price were just ok.

I'm hoping I'll like the Wu album enough to give it top billing, but I'm doubtful.

UGK, Prodigy, Devin, Jazzy Jeff, Evidence (in that order) are the only things I have thoroughly enjoyed so far through and through this year.

i'm feeling all the cuts on the 'Port Authority', love the ol' boom bap vibe. so my vote goes to Marco Polo.
