Generally recalling some of the joints I like with Sadat X, (Someone upload Wild Cowboys. I bought that tape mad times)I just feel like he deserves a thread.

Top 50 emcee.

A great #2 man and really is the reason I love Brand Nu. And a really nice person too.

One of the most distinctive flow, delivery, and voice combinations in rap history. He's not given enough credit for being waaaaay ahead of his time.

Not to mention he's dope as fuck.

People often see me at jams, they be thinking I'm high,
Nah, that just be my lazy eye.

Still one of the GOAT opening couplets.

That last album was nice too.

I remember hearing some beats come from his apartment from time to time, he used to live on the first floor of my building here on Harlem's West side. His Hip Hop contribution is definitely appreciated, favorite songs that popped in my mind as I typed: To The Right, Actual Facts, Escape From New York.

From Slow Down to A Day In The Life, Sadat was great at visualizing hood life in NYC, one of the greatest aspects of his writing imo.
