I was annoyed by Exhibit P, other than that it was alright.

Hey. Is there any way anybody could hook me up with links for the Jr. High 2 the Pen mixtape, Jr. High 2 the Pen vol. 2 and the Rat Trap mixtape? I used to have all of those on my ipod but it got stolen so now I'm trying to fill my new ipod but I can't find links for those anywhere online. If anyone could help, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Any chance of getting a re-up of the stuff on the first couple pages, or the mix that Ackbar made? I had it and then lost most of the music on my harddrive, and I'm having a hard time finding much of his stuff by torrent or blog search.

Pretty big A-Wax fan and kinda underwhelmed with this on 1st listen - most of the best songs were used as singles or leaked way before this was even put together I guess.

Diggin "Somebody I Used to Know" in terms of shit I hadn't already heard.

Feel like this album recaptures what I liked most about A-Wax when Rey upped Thug Deluxe on page 1 of this thread: an outsider carving out his own world within the mob music universe, and his ear for melody.

No guest features was such a good idea.

I like the cover, but he really missed a trick with the concept of Pullin' Strings in not continuing his whole Elm Street shtick with a reference to the puppet scene in NOES 3: Dream Warriors.

Cover should have been this image but with A-Wax as Freddy and Husalah as Phillip:

Somebody plz plz plz make that photoshop. Waka will work in place of Hus if you wanna keep the concept so 2014.

Exactly what this album is if you replace 'mob music' by 'trap music', just like he replaced Hus' by Waka as his new enemy...

I wouldn't even say trap music because this album is way more melodic/west coast-specific than that.

I think the general sound of this album and its precedent Jesus Malverde tracks like Her Mistakez, Gone Fishin', Apartheid etc is west coast underground gangsta rap's response to the sound of teh Kendrick Lamar album maybe?

Yeah, i think there's definitely trap beats on 'everybody loves me" & 'jesus malverde', but here (& on some tracks on previous albums) he added his melodic touch. Take 'no limit' for example (or 'Apartheid' it's an 808 mafia beat), it's build around a trap structure with more melodic sounds than what we're used to hear with those snares.
That's what i like so much about wax, he takes something & makes it his own.

Album is really really good. Maybe a few tracks too long.

Not all the way up on new beef with waka either.

A-Wax was throwing shots at Waka a few weeks back on Instagram calling him out for charging BSM guys for features but not charging "suckas", and declared that he was no longer down with BSM "because you don't rep somethin' that don't rep you".

Wax then leaked Bros Ain't Loyal last week, which was clearly a subliminal dis track to Waka with one of the features Wax had paid for slapped right dab in the middle of it.

A-Wax w/ Waka Flocka Flame - These Bros Ain't Loyal

Now Waka has retaliated by befriending and hanging out with Husalah, which is the equivalent of Juelz et Jim hanging out playin' pool with 50 on 106 & Park that time.

Well, prison.

Then teasing his audience for 5 years with initially a1 occasional songs/features before petering out to his current depressing mediocrity with zero tapes or albums in the meantime despite supposedly having hundreds of songs in the can. Still fingers crossed for the album dropping nevruary first though.
