Best G-Unit related album since The Massacre? You Bet. Shockingly good actually.

Banks and 50 rap like they still care. Whatever Banks is doing with his voice, it works. Yayo is fucking hilarious. My House Is Haunted.

The production is really solid. Ron Brownz is a man. There are a couple misses, but for the most part this is great.

I agree. Brownz been had bangers. I love "Ether" he did for Nas and "Playboy 2" for Lloyd Banks. Straight outta southside, rider pt. 2, let it go, and t.o.s. bang hard.

This album is quite ordinary.

Beg 4 Mercy >>>>

Curtis too.

That Polow Da Don beat is a banger.

G-Unit is done.

Dope album start to finish.

The beat selection is terrific.

G-Unit before they became complacent.

It's up there with 50's major-label debut, arguably better.

Beg For Mercy and Curtis are the defining albums of "complacent" G-Unit. TOS is a return to the pre-GRODT mixtape steez G-Unit (for me). The beats here are infinitely better than on Beg For Mercy and Lloyd actually has me rewinding verses again.

To each his own, I guess.

Had no interest to hear this until reading this thread.

Beg for Mercy and Curtis suck. The Massacre is unfairly hated on because of the awfulness of Candy Shop but overall is solid.

Will listen to this tomorrow.
General Interests: Fine herbage! Keepin it real, Jui Ryi Ki Kung-Fu (Blue belt with shuriken certification). Banging the skins with my smokin band 'TwaughtHammer'. European motocross (plan to attend Wheelie School in Vegas this summer). MILF's, MILF's, MILF's, MILF's!

Wow, there are some people who don't think Beg For Mercy was an absolute worthless piece of shit?

Intro
Poppin Them Thangs
I'm So Hood
Footprints (possibly Buck's best solo joint)
Eye for Eye
Salute U
G'd Up
Gangsta Shit
I Smell Pussy

...are all dope to me. Plus a couple other joints I don't recall.

There are 3 songs from this new shit I might listen to again. "Southside", the Movado shit, the Polow Da Don one....and....that's it.

I agree that Curtis sucks, but beatwise, there are more high-points (probably more lows too).

I also agree that Banks is the star of T.O.S, but it still sucks.

"Feel Good" and "Hollow Through Him" should have been included.

^^ I suggest listening to the past 3 G-Unit radios and Elephant in the Sand. Not bad releases from that camp at all. I thought Beg for mercy was ight. Curtis was half assed. It had too many retreads of past formulas.

G-Unit Radio 25 "Sabrina's Baby Boy" in particular, was pretty damn dope.

I will take Blastmaster's word on this one here.

The music he's recommended that I like is so good it makes me want to exercise while punching people in their faces/necks/throats.

I listened to it tonight. It was pretty terrible. I really wanted to like it too. Beg For Mercy, while having no replay value was still better than this.

Beg For Mercy wasn't a cohesive album to me but individually the songs weren't bad at all. This album is just garbage, I'm sorry
