It's the best track that has ever sampled Keith too. It's perfect start to finish.

A very strong cut indeed...but maybe not even the best on IWW. "Silent Murder" and "The Message" are up there. Still, Nas killed the verses on "Take It In Blood."

Yes, dope song.

There's an alternate version with different lyrics. Who has it?

I'm suprised.

Many people I know rate "Nas Is Like" as their favourite non-illmatic Nas track.

Top 5? No.

Top 20? Yes.

Yeah. Take it In Blood is probably top twenty five Nas songs, but Silent Murder and The Message are both easily better, if we're talking IWW. And there are quite a few individual Nas songs that have been better since as well.

Great song though.

The mix I made for my last party started with this song and went into Cormega's "Therapy." The beat is smooth as fuck.

you started a party mix with "Undying Love"?

Did you throw in "Cats Cradle" and "Guarentees" too? Sounds like a real wrist slitter.

I was talking about "Take it In Blood," lol. My reading comprehension = fail. The beat blends nice with "Therapy," especially if you chop up the start with the Kool Keith sample.

And no way "Undying Love" is the best Nas song ever. If you want to talk storytelling, "Poppa Was a Playa" > "Undying Love," in everything from the rhymes to the beat.

"Undying Love" may not be the best Nas song, but "Poppa Was a Player" isn't even the same league, doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same BREATH as "Undying Love." Seriously. "Undying Love" is one of the top 10 storytelling tracks in rap history, "Poppa Was a Player" barely even fits the mold. Not even top 100. Sub-comment, having a "hook" on a storytelling song is one of the gayest ideas ever. Especially a hook as horrifically bad as the one on "Poppa Was a Player"

the hook on Poppa was a Player > Undying Love

but Undying Love is the 2nd best Nas storytelling joint easily.
