Not sure why an album with Quiet Storm, Adrenaline, Where Ya From w/ 8 Ball, The Realest w/ G Rap, and It's Mine w/Nas gets hated on, but this one tends to be disparaged.

Peace to the Quiet Storm video, one of the best "what the fuck does this have to do with anything" videos, with some of the most fantastically bad special effects from the last decade, P rapping under a desk, and Havoc with the welder's mask and cutting cables

Much better album than Hell On Earth.

What's Ya Poison with Mega Montana is undoubtedly the high point of it.

^^ I disagree Lexus. hell on earth, G.O.D. part 3, the vicious pac diss drop a gem on them were all hard and better. I think Murda muzik was a classic though. Kool g rap ripped shit. "Bullets ain't racial, they just hate u". This was also the last album Mobb Deep where Prodigy was top 10 in New York.

That video was :ohsh: when it came out.

Got to listen to this again. I always thought Hell on Earth, besides the title track, the track with Nas, and Drop a Gem on Em, was kind of weak as well.

Not to mention the best track on there...Apostle's Warning.

It's scary good.

End to end it may be their most consistently dope album to date. Fierce as fuck. One of the most appropriate album titles two, and it sets a high standard. But if you listen to this and dont feel like slicing necks 5 minutes into it, you have a vagina.

Between G Rap and Mega's guest verses on here, yikes, these forces of evil nature are to be recognized as powerful as fuck.

A SOLID 4 mics, atleast.

PEACE

yep. even though i didn't listen to it as much as HOE, they were neck and neck as far as consistency.
The Realest w/ G Rap
that track was the shit. nothing out like it at the time this album dropped.

Hell On Earth is much better, but MM is pretty damn amazing. MM has aged really well.

Basically. If you put a gun to head and made me choose one, I'd take so long to decide you'd just shoot me anyways.

"Allustrious" is a monster track as well. I love that organ sample.

Really has aged into a classic I think. Some of the best "left off" material for an album this good too, here's four joints from the bootleg version that never made the final cut:

http://www.zshare.net/audio/15077218e809c5b7/ - Cold World

http://www.zshare.net/audio/150770990bb3aa27/ - 3 From NYC

Wow, I thought I was the only person that loved this entire album from start to finish. Just last year everyone here was shitting on MM and calling it the beginning of Mobb Deep's downfall.

It is neck and neck and neck with hoe and infamous for me.

The movie is great for comedic value too.
