Soccerheads : Who do you fancy to win the CL ?

Post by Juice »

So the first rounds are over.Based on that and games being played in home/national championships who do you fancy to win the whole thing? Is Milan strong enough to retain the trophy??Its well know that teams like Milan only get better as the season goes on.What about Chelsea? Will all these problems effect their game? Are they even good enough to be mentioned in this thread?Barcelona is killin teams with players like Henry and Messi whats their position on this thing.Lets not forget Man utd and Real Madrid especially Real, they are playing beautiful soccer this year.Who do you think could surprise the big teams this year?Roma? The new and improved Arsenal?Perhaps teams like Fenerbahce or the unlucky Inter?

Drop some knowledge

Strongest favorites:

Barcelona: A very likely candidate seen from afar. I must say I am entirely sceptical that Rijkaard can accomodate all these players and not piss someone off. But when you look at their squad it is definetly the best in the world.

Real Madrid: Possibly my most likely pick, their squad is immense and they have started well, except for the atrocious Sevilla matches.

AC Milan: They had a slow start to their season, but there is hardly any reason they couldn't pull through. it depends how well the players are aging since they rely on proven quality.

Manu: From what we have seen thus far, they have no chance of competing. I don't know if they will refind their form, I sort of doubt it.

Chelski: It will be interesting to see how a new manager will affect them, so far i have no clue as to what their chances are.

Outsiders:

Liverpool: A strong cup team, I predict semi-finals.

Arsenal: Given their current form, there is no trophy they cant win, i wonder if they can sustain it.

Inter: Unlucky and disjointed.

Sevilla: A UEFA cup team.

Valencia: See above.

The German teams: naaah.
Whether to Jason of Philaflava or John Podesta, I will speak my fucking perspective openly

yeah thats true, but it would be a lot different if Bayern was in the CL this year, we both know their team is more than just regular fire.
