Philly fans are treating Bettman like a villain in wrestling.

anticlimactic to say the least. the way OT started i thought we'd push it to 7.

leighton did a great job and i can't blame him but i also know he isn't our goalie next year. congrats chicago fans.

Hjarlmesson will probably somehow cough up the cup to a Flyer.

Bettman is such an ass.

There's really no reason why the NHL couldn't make Kane another "face of the league" after this year.

Peace to John Madden. Third cup with 2 great teams.

I hate how CBC isn't showing a replay. They show replays all year long but not for the stanley cup winning game?
I've only wanted to see 2 replays this year, this game, and the game that Orr knocked out Carkner (which they cut out on the replay by the way, thsoe fagz). So weak.

I'd give it to Keith, especially after his goal.

Fucking sucks. Co-sign the sentiment that at least it was to another franchise with a drought and I have to give a lot of props to Chicago, great young team. So fast and so precise with their puck handling.
Also I have a lot more respect for the Chicago fan base after this series. I think Game 5 in Chicago might have been the rowdiest crowd of the series.

We have a lot we can build on and I ain't mad at Leighton, dude did a hell of a job this playoffs in a tough spot. A couple weak goals last night but our offense missed a lot of great opportunities.

Your boy Pierre McGuire told him to be on his best behavior at the celebration.

So hungover.

Really strange game. Hawks thoroughly dominated most of that game but either the Hawks went into a complete defensive shell or the Flyers turned it on because I was certain after the last 8 minutes and the start of OT that we would have a game 7.

Most anticlimactic and hilarious finish to a championship game ever? I only realized it when Timonen stopped skating.

Heard from a few friends of mine that the team brought the cup to Harry Carey's in Rosemont at like 4am.

Amazing how quickly all this has happened...it feels just like yesterday we were celebrating Bill Wurtz dying. Also, shoutout to Dale Tallon...kind of sucks he isn't with the team that he built.

why tomorrow night (tonight)? last night was fuckin rowdy to say the least
Extra rowdy. All our bar tabs got waived for some reason, and I was one of those idiots in the middle of Clark street just south of Addison.

Cool story.

Feels good to shave, and props to Philly for a great series. The ending was a little anti climactic but I'll take it. I'm glad we won it on the road, I wasn't in the mood to riot

Last year I could not wait to shave my beard off. Mine was pretty long and annoyed the hell out of me. By the end it was at about 4 inches long ( :pause: ). I actually shaved it off when the Pens went down 2-0 last year and they went 4-1 in the next five and won the cup. It felt so good to shave though.

I only watch during the playoffs. Chicago is a nice young team. Infinitely more likeable then pittsburgh.

Kane and Toews are the real fucking deal.

I'm not sure if we have to grow them, or just the guys on the teams, but I'm not taking any chances

I do this every time the knicks and giants are in the playoffs.

I'm always confident in the yanks so no need to grow a beard.

I think Hossa is my favorite player on the Hawks. But yeah, there's like upwards of 20 dope motherfuckers. I think I might actually watch some regular season games next season (I only checked out one this year).

Why not take it to the next level and refuse to shower, put on deodorant, or brush your teeth? Who gives a fuck what your lady thinks, and the hell with your boss, family, friends, etc - we're talking playoffs here.

at least with the beard, i can pass it off as religous reasons even though most people know i'm not remotely religious.
