not feelin this cause i am an evolved sports mind. i no longer have the passion and hate for any team. i dont even hate the packers,... i actually enjoy seeing an also with the pasteoid and the excitement...that was once me...been there, never won..but hey...its sports, hating teams and wanted certain people/places to lose is a source of anger i am glad to be free of

homie, breeze. since we are past the drama, can we continue posting like men and forget the lil drama?

we all cool. maybe let the youtube video go for supmtin tight?? latter tonight? cut that critter loose? i usually rock your videos but i havent this one.

This has nothing to do with the failed thread from yesterday. It has more to do with something that I've been thinking about for a while now which is that I hate Duke Basketball more than Notre Dame football, but not as much as I hate the Boston Celtics.

Hate is good in sports. If you have a deep rivalry with a team/school it gives you more incentive to whup that ass and more elation when you do.

I dont understand how people can hate perpetually hapless teams. Like the Browns. As long as they've been back in the NFL, they've sucked. They aren't a threat to anyone, other than their own fans. I usually just laugh at teams like that because I have a hard time hating such a joke of a franchise

I feel part of that. Naturally as a St. Louis Cardinals fan, I'm supposed to hate the Chicago Cubs because they are supposed to be my bitter rivals, but since their organization and fans are fags, I really don't hate them as much as I should. Part of it is because I've been living in the LA area for so long and also because they are really irrelevant when it comes to winning period.

The Browns are on Random Sample's shit list because he is from Pittsburgh. It makes perfect sense.

What doesn't make sense to me is how people can hate Boise State? What the fuck have they done to anybody? We have barely heard of them until they beat Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl a few years back.

I guess I understand part of the regional rivalry. I mean, three of the five teams on my most hated list are from LA and some of that is because I'm a Bay Area sports fan. So Pitt hating Cleveland, and vice versa, makes sense. The difference I see tho is that the LA teams I listed are usually pretty good and could potentially beat my favorite teams.

If it just came down to regional rivals, I should put the Clippers on my list. They are from LA and I'm a diehard Warriors fan so it would make sense. But I don't because they suck. They've always sucked. I pity them. I don't hate 'em. If anything, I enjoy them because they are so bad every year I can usually find some solace at the end of another losing Warrior's season by saying "well shit, atleast we finished ahead of the Clippers again."

The Cubs/Cards thing has a lot to do with proximity. We get a shitload of them up here, and Cubs fans travel to STL and buy up all your expensive seats every road series with our faggy money.

Very little to do with baseball in the second half of this decade.

My family is from Northern KY & Southern Ohio and they've got a pretty big thing going with Bengals/Browns. I guess down there you just arbitrarily pick a franchise and hate the other one.

I was raised Bengals. Still can't bring myself to hate the Browns.
