pavano gives us a better chance to win, but duensing will have the best year as a starter (my prediction)
Liriano is much better than any other Twins starter, its not even close

well to be fair we don't know how Liriano would have faired tonightPositive A wrote:Positive A wrote:Liriano. Pavano. Frank Viola. Scott Erickson. It doesn't matter who they trot out there tonight. nice one. buy a lottery ticket.capable_keL wrote:i can live with that and kill the debate before the season starts in 45 minuteseternalreflection wrote:I could have swore it was ended but I guess Kel(and prob myjah) is still stubbornly hanging onto Pavano
kel, Liriano when you strikeout 9+ per 9inning, you can get away with extra walks
as for the defense, Span is solid, but Young and Cuddyer are god-awful and noone else is noteworthy, and I imagine Kubel will spend more than 0innings in the field this year and he makes Cuddyer look good lol
Gardy and the organization aren't good, its frustrating since when you are a mid-market team you can't give away edges like that and expect to seriously compete
no matter who is throwing the blue jays might put up 13 runs

haha Yeah. And Sanchez can be good after 5, but I know what you mean. Brandon Belt's HR earlier was beautiful.alpha wrote:Brandon Belt is for real.
Outfield is atrocious minus Torres.
Sanchez is a great pitcher for 5 innings. That's it.
Defense overall so far is awful.
Posey comin up with the bases loaded!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

pablo looks good. As futbol heads would say, he looks fit. Defense needs to get it together. Ross coming back and playing left should solve the outfield. Infield... so we got Broxton coming in.Wicked wrote:haha Yeah. And Sanchez can be good after 5, but I know what you mean. Brandon Belt's HR earlier was beautiful.alpha wrote:Brandon Belt is for real.

as bad as he was he was better than Pavano
and meh all pitchers have bad starts, I guess its possible he regresses a fuckton from how he pitched last year, but that just means MN is totally fucked
