Can't someone be a season ticket holder, and never poast in the Sports Bar?

Rubio or Irving?

If Rubio would have stayed for the season he definetly should have won the ROTY award. Not taking anything away from Irving but Rubio was very instrumental in the Wolves even touching playoff contention even if it was for a whole while.

No way Rubio was winning ROTY in my opinion.

ROY usually goes to the player with the best stats. Irving would still get it if Rubio didn't get injured.

Kevin Garnett, fiercely reminding everyone that you don't have to play for the Miami Heat to be an intolerable faggot:

Holy shit, what a depressing read.
http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/771 ... easy-steps
I'm sure a Clippers historical review would read almost the same way, but it doesn't make me feel any better.

I was in the cheap seats, the section next to where Mullin's number hangs.
Employee is white and a season ticket holder, so the nigga's seats are probably in the lower bowl sideline area.

Yeah that Grantland story is some shit. I knew most of it already, but that doesn't make it an easier to read.

Also, I find it shocking that any historical perspective from Simmons would begin in 78, the year Bird was drafted.

Yeah all that was already out in the open, but to see it compiled definitively like that is :ohsh: .
Even when they got things right, they fucked it up soon after.

If franchise history tells us fans of the Warriors anything, its that we should be stoked about the way the Monta/Bogut trade will play out over the next few years

lets talk a little more of THE DRAGON'S greatness.

HOUSTON -- Kobe Bryant gave Goran Dragic a quick hug after Houston's pesky point guard led the Rockets past the Lakers on Wednesday night.

Dragic hit the go-ahead 3-pointer with 28 seconds left and finished with 16 points and 13 assists in Houston's 107-104 comeback victory.

Down by nine with 5 minutes left, the Rockets had a 12-0 run to take the lead. Dragic scored 10 points in the final quarter, putting the Rockets ahead for good with his second 3 of the game.

Houston held on and Bryant made a point to meet Dragic at midcourt after the final buzzer.

"He just said, 'Good game, I wish you luck,"' Dragic said. "Nothing special."

Bryant remembers when the Lakers struggled to guard Dragic when he backed up Steve Nash with Phoenix.

"A lot of times when we played them in the playoffs, in the Western Conference finals, when he came off the bench, that's the unit that really gave us the biggest headache," Bryant said. "He's really developed into a hell of a basketball player."
If you can't walk the walk, don't talk the talk.

I've always like Dragic, I remember when the only thing he was known for was getting yammed on two handed by D Rose.

Some team is gonna sign him for a lot of money this summer and give him a starting job. And he's gonna deserve it.

you really think he'll get a starting job?

I followed the guy since his Union Olimpija days and his jumper might keep him from getting a starting job. His speed is unreal though

I knew about the all stars. Wasn't aware of the lottery fact, but I know how bad the team has been and how horrible their draft history is so, I'm not shocked.

One of the more random details that jumped out at me is the rookie contract they gave C-Webb. Holy shit.

Seriously. The 30+ years of ineptitude in the front office. It's appalling.

Simmons nailed it here:

"the Warriors lack an identity beyond the whole "they suck every year, they always screw up, but at least they have great fans" tag. Doesn't that really mean that their fans are just loyal saps? What keeps them coming back? At what point do you just throw your hands up and scream, "ENOUGH"?"

They're more likely to just move the team to San Francisco instead

the part about Barry quitting on his teammates because they didn't back him up after the fight was interesting.

back to basketball. I wish I could see basketball teams overall record for games after a coach is fired.
