Went with Strawberry, but my most memorable autograph experience was when I met Will Clark.

During a spring training game at the Phillies complex, the Rangers were the visiting team. I knew the clubhouse manager, so he invited me to hang out in the visitors clubhouse and help out. Around the 3rd or 4th inning, Will Clark walks in by himself, as his day was finished. I i looked up in awe as I was hoping to get him to sign a picture for me. He looks at me and yells with a booming voice, "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU LOOKING AT?" I immediately start stumbling over my words and practically shitting my pants. He then starts laughing and says, "I'm just fucking with you."

growing up as a Reds fan it's Larkin without a doubt, the consistancy, the class, nothing but respect and appreciation for Larkin from all Reds fans, my favorite athlete ever

Davis got the shaft ftom Marge Schott, gave his life for the Reds and was never quite the same after his injury in the world series, he's back as some kind of coach or advisor for the Reds, helping Billy Hamilton develop

Thomas was more of a 90s, mid 90s kinda guy. He isn't really apart of this 80s class.

I voted for Ozzie Smith, but I never really cared about any of these dudes.

I read Darryl Strawberry's first book right around the time it came out (early 92). I barely remember any of it.

According to an amazon review, he claimed that racism was one of the reasons why he was let go by the Mets. He also talks about his issues with alcohol and drugs. I might need to revisit this one just for the comedic value.

I read his latest book that came out a couple years ago. First half was good where he talked about growing up, playing ball, doing drugs, etc...

2nd half was a Jesus fest and I never bothered to finish it

I was an Oriole fan growing up because of RIpken. They were the first team i ever saw win the world series. Dude is still my guy 4 LYFE.
