Baseball: Greatest Seasons #3
Without looking on ESPN, Wikipedia or Baseball-Reference come up with who you believe this player to be. Don't cheat bitch.
I played all but 1 game that year. I didn't have the longest of carers but I like to think it was a memorable one.
In this year put up some crazy offensive numbers for a player of who batted where I did in the line-up. I led the league in AB, runs scored, walks and hits. My OBP was ridiculous but wasn't the years best if you can believe that.
In my career I only played in the National League. Yes, this should be the easiest one out of the previous threads.
Peep my stats ho.
.305, 19 HR, 194 hits, 143 runs, 129 walks, 6 triples, 37 SB, .420 OBP
Who am I and what year is this?

Correct, he did play in the AL.
I gave a few really good clues in this one.
A) not a long career
B) NL only
C) did not bat in the heart of the order
That kinda gave it away when you look at 2 of the stats.

This one was easy. I couldn't get the other ones for the life of me. This is one of the better seasons from a leadoff hitter that I've ever seen.
It's Nails. in 1993.
