Kings are actually a really fun team to watch. Part of that is that they are a total fuckin trainwreck, and it can be enjoyable to rubberneck at the carnage. The other part is that they have some legitimately cool young players (DMC, Evans, Zeke, Thornton, Patterson, Thompson) who all can show out on any given night.

This is one team I can safely and bravely say is in need of a white dude, preferably from one of those former Soviet block nations.peanut butter wrote:Kings are actually a really fun team to watch. Lol, nobody ever agrees w/ me in here...
But @Natty...alright, both points taken. +2.
I don't bet on sports unless I'm on vacation in Vegas or Tahoe, and I don't have league pass. But if I ordered it and started gambling a lot...then eventually woke up one day and realized I had serious opinions on a horrible Eastern team like...The Cleveland Cavaliers? I'd have to be making a lot of scratch to not reevaluate things.
I guess I'm just a fan of my teams for the most part. It's a few players I enjoy seeing play regardless of the uniform they wear in a given season, but more often than not, if the end result of an NBA game has no bearing or effect on my Dubs, then really, IDGAF.
Just my opinion obviously, and I love basketball...but even w/ money involved, that just sounds hella boring. The attention deficit in me would kick in w/ the quickness.
I will agree, however, w/ your point about good, loud fans. When there's an excited, clever fanbase getting super for their squad, it definitely makes games a lot more fun to watch. In fact, that's one of the reasons I like college bball more than the NBA sometimes...

You mean to play as a facilitator, sorta like the Divac role back with Adelman? If so, I agree. Shit anyone on that team that didn't have a me-first mentality would the first of his kind. But as for the Euro, it's unfortunate that there really aren't that many of those guys in the association anymore. And I dont even mean 7 footers, cuz the Divac/Sabonis role is exceedingly rare, in terms of a big guy with the ability to score and also move the ball. But just in general. There aren't that many good Euros in the league these days. I think Bargs goin first overall and being a total faggot pretty much ruined it, the same way Kwame ruined high schoolers.Big Breeze wrote:This is one team I can safely and bravely say is in need of a white dude, preferably from one of those former Soviet block nations.peanut butter wrote:Kings are actually a really fun team to watch. As a facilitator role? Okay, maybe...
But not as a head coach. No way, man.
Act like somebody on this '12-'13 Kings roster wouldn't have already choked a P.J. Carlesimo type the fuck out earlier this season...

Spot on with the facilitator point. The Kings are too selfish and too hood.
I would really like to see them move to Seattle. That city is too dope to be deprived of a bball squad. Much love to the 206/253 region. They produce good ballers too.

The Kings need a point guard soooooooo badly. Keith Smart or bust for them. Trey Burke if they fall in the latter half of the top 10.

Re: ***NBA 2012-2013 SEASON THREAD***
I was thinking about making a 16 man bracket tournament for best PGs under 25. That sound interesting at all, or just take up too much space on page? I was going to take out Westbrook and Irving (and maybe Rose) to make it more interesting. Pop was not in favor. If I did this was the seeds:
1) Derrick Rose vs. 16) Isiah Thomas
8) Brandon Jennings vs. 9) Kemba Walker
4) John Wall vs. 13) Avery Bradley
5) Jrue Holiday vs. 12) Jeremy Lin
3) Ricky Rubio vs. 14) Jeff Teague
6) Ty Lawson vs. 11) Eric Bledsoe
7) Damian Lilliard vs .10) Mike Conley
2) Steph Curry vs. 15) Alexey Shved
Should I do it? This would be for future, not just this year.
Regardless if we do, the depth of PGs is crazy. That is great top 16 under 25, and doesn't even include 2 All-NBA type players. If you make this list for any other position by time you get to like 8th you will be grasping at straws

If Irving and Westbrook go out, Rose must too. Cuz he's like, better, than them.

Jeremy Lin is going to be grossly overpaid by the time he gets to his third year of his contract. Ugghh.
His shit does stank.

Plus, with Irving getting hurt again this year....I'm not entirely sure that he's a sure thing.

Del Negro is the worst. No way they can win in playoffs with him as coach. Tie game with 31 seconds left, Tony Parker lying on the ground so 5-4, CP3 screaming inbound the ball to him... Del Negro calls timeout.

I fucking hate VDN, a faggot of sterling proportion.
Reggie Evans nabbing 15 boards tho.

There are Lakers fans sitting in the Maloofs seats. They make Dan Snyder and Sterling look like great guys.

Westbrooks crossover. Someone post that .gif
Re: ***NBA 2012-2013 SEASON THREAD***
More proof that the dominant NBA big man is as endangered as liberal Republicans: For the first time in league history, no player is going to average at least 20 points and 10 rebounds per game.
Only 11 players are averaging 10 or more rebounds, and the highest scorer in that group is Golden State’s David Lee with 18.6 points per game. That means he would have to average 31 points over his last nine games to reach the 20-point plateau for the season. Unless he suddenly turns into Wilt Chamberlain, it ain’t gonna happen.
Ten players are averaging at least 20 points a game, and the leading rebounder on that list is Portland’s LaMarcus Aldridge with 8.9 per game. To reach the 10-rebound mark for the season, he would have to average 17.1 boards over his final 11 games. No chance.
