Everyone knows the Lakers don't play well in the Rose Garden. They Blazers could of started an all midget backcourt with Gary Coleman and Emanuel Lewis and it would have been a tough game.
Lillard had a career high in points too. He made Kobe look silly at times with his wizardry. I predicated ROY status with him before the season started and that should come to fruition.
We'll see if the Lakers really want to get in the playoffs over the next few games. Outro.
Speaking of your predictions, remember when you said you like the Blazers starting lineup more than the Warriors? You still feel that way?

Absolutely. If I want to nerd it out, I could say that the collective Portland starter's PER is better than Golden State's, whether you substitute Ezeli or Bogut.

It is actually pretty amazing that Portland was 33-36 9 games ago when you consider they have probably 2nd worst bench in NBA (only Lakers worse, right?) and have dealt with injuries to their starters throughout.

I can't believe we're having a kawhi/butler debate right now.

http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/916 ... rap-career"It wasn't a battle," Alvin Williams says. "I was walking out of the Hilton and bumped into him as he and a couple of buddies were getting out of a limousine. I said, 'What are you going to do?' He's like, 'Go to my room and rap until my voice gets hoarse.' I go, 'You can't rap.' It was like straight out of a movie. He says, 'I can't rap?' Then he turned to one of his friends and said, 'Give me a beat.' His friend started beatboxing. Kobe then rapped for about 15 minutes straight. By the time we finished, I swear to God, there are like 150 people circled around. Then everyone expected me to rap. I walked away. I don't rap. They had their whole routine. It was straight out of Krush Groove. He wasn't that bad. And I'm a rap head."

Why the Belicheck face? Am I wrong? You said some real dumb shit that was a combo of being a huge homer and not seeing enough Kawhi. No one agreed and said why. You couldn't respond to actual points and resorted to makings pictures of some empty stats. That is called you getting clowned like usual.

brook is healthy, joe johnson is healthy, and deron is healthy...they are dangerous on offense right now...the way they have been playing, if they don't win the first round series, it will be a big disappointment

So does this force Kobe to retire? And if so, does D12 re-sign in the off season now that Kobe is out of the picture?

The first thing I thought of is will Howard want to be a Laker without a healthy Kobe at the beginning of the season? I doubt it. Howard isn't Laker material anyway, but we may be left with little to nothing after the huge trade from last summer if he dips.Hayzoos wrote:So does this force Kobe to retire? Because I'm in the Northwest right now, I didn't see a minute of the game. One of my best friends who's a diehard Kobe fan broke the news to me while I was driving in the rain. I thought he was playing at first.
I may talk a lot of shit towards Kobe and heavily dislike him, but he's one of the best who has ever done it, despite his stubbornness.

Seeing Kobe get injured is brutal. I think he's a shitty human being, but he's one of those competitive-to-a-fault motherfuckers that I love to watch and will always respect. Salute and get healthy.
Re: ***NBA 2012-2013 SEASON THREAD***
http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/story/_/ ... mvp-ballotWe could marvel at his consistency. You probably don't remember a bad game from James this season and that's because he was pretty much a human metronome of dominance this season. At his worst, he was Blake Griffin. No, seriously. Take James' worst 10 games of the season by Game Score (a PER-like metric developed by John Hollinger to evaluate single-game performances) and you'll find that he averaged 19.3 points, 8.7 rebounds and 5.2 assists in those duds. Griffin this season? 18.2 points, 8.4 rebounds and 3.7 assists.
In other words, statistically on his worst days, James was an All-Star big man. Maybe even a little bit better.

How many teams are really gonna have the money to sign d12? Houston, Dallas, and Atlanta. Am I missing anyone?
