That was a crazy god damn card. Rough night for the aussies.

Perosh got prison raped for 15 minutes.
Soa got the worlds first ever TKO via childlike flailing.
Shogun made Te Huna do the Bernie.
Hunt vs Bigfoot was an all out war.

Shout outs to the aussie crowd cheering for both Shogun and Bigfoot, as well as the local fighters. Not many countries seem to do that... Also lol at the crowd booing that one ref everytime he was introduced.

Great crowd!. It was almost like Japan at times. Very quiet. I've noticed on both shows that Aussie's randomly yell jokes and the whole crowd cracks up. They were very polite and cheered for all the winning fighters no matter what, which was great. You don't see that a lot. Australia is definitely one of my favorite crowds. I love when they have shows there. Booing the ref was great too, that guy SUCKED!

I was happy the main event was a draw. Perfect ending for that fight.

Agreed on all points. Much prefer a draw to a controversial split decision.

I think Round 5 was the most gassed round I've ever seen, but the gassedness was completely reasonable given the circumstances, so it didn't suck.

Good thing it didn't land. I feel like he might've missed on purpose though.

Hunt/ Silva looked like King Kong vs Godzilla. I don't even watch monster movies but that's how I'm going to label it.

RE: Shogun's last punch

I think he meant it. I mean we're talking about the same Shogun from the Chute Boxe camp who in PRIDE days would not only soccer-kick you into 'bolivian but liked to catch air before he stomped your face:

GSP just vacated his belt and will retire for now. (may come back at a later point.) He said being champ is too much pressure.

Impressive knockout by Mighty Mouse. And that's the best Faber we've seen in years. Good for him. McDonald needs some proactive for his bacne!
